Theodore Bunzel

Theodore Bunzel is a Managing Director and Head of Geopolitical Advisory at Lazard since March 2022. Prior experience includes multiple roles at BlackRock from July 2013 to March 2022, including Managing Director positions in External Affairs and as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of BII, along with overseeing the Retirement Solutions Group and Corporate Strategy. Bunzel has also held positions at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Department of State, and worked with The Scowcroft Group and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. An educational background features an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MA from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA from Yale University.
