Barry Lazarus is an accomplished legal professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the CEO and Notary Public at Lazarus Legal since March 1996. With extensive experience in various legal and business sectors, Lazarus previously held the role of Partner at Bessington Judd, advising clients on business structures, franchising, and mergers. Earlier career highlights include positions as In-house Counsel and Franchise Manager for Freedom Furniture, Co-Founder of Portofina, and Managing Director of Dairy Treats, where unique ice cream desserts were produced. Additionally, Lazarus established a successful franchise network for CARVEL Ice Cream before moving to Australia and began a legal career as a Partner at a law firm, representing major corporations. Barry Lazarus holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
