Michael Gillett

Michael Gillett is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and engineering across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Lazer Lamps Ltd since December 2022, Michael previously held key roles at Arrival, focusing on design engineering for automotive projects, including significant contributions to van and bus projects. Notably, Michael's expertise includes design for manufacture, BOM management, ergonomic studies, and prototype development, working extensively with CATIA V5 and NX for design modeling. Earlier career experiences include leadership positions at RLE International UK, where Michael led design efforts in electric vehicles and robotics, as well as roles in automotive design at McLaren and Ford. Michael holds a 2:1 degree in Automotive Design Mdes from Coventry University.
