Doug Combs

Doug Combs has a extensive and successful career in the rail industry. Doug currently holds the position of Vice President of Rail Sales at LB Foster since 2023. Prior to that, they were at Harsco Rail for many years, where they served as the Vice President of North America from 2011 to 2023. During their time at Harsco Rail, they held various other leadership roles, such as Vice President of Global Aftermarket and Asia Pacific, Director of Asia Pacific Region and Global Parts and Service, and Director - Aftermarket: Global Parts & Service. Before joining Harsco Rail, Combs worked at HTT / Harsco Corp as a General Manager, responsible for directing business operations and managing manufacturing, procurement, and engineering. Doug also had experience at Harsco Rail as a Plant Manager, Materials Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and in a Management Track role. Throughout their career, Combs achieved significant successes, such as leading the execution of a $350M contract, implementing strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction, reducing inventory levels, and improving safety measures.

Doug Combs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Doug later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Processes at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 1998 to 2000.
