Brian Kates has held multiple positions in the past decade. In 2021, they began working as an Inside Sales Representative for LBB Specialties. In 2013, they started working as a Sales and Leasing Consultant for Abeloff Nissan, where they focused on giving customers solutions based on their last vehicle and maintained contact with them throughout the life of the vehicle. In 2012, they worked as an Internet Sales Consultant for Kelly Nissan, where they used product knowledge to help customers find solutions and advertised to prospect additional leads. In 2010, they worked as a Product Specialist for Best Buy and as an Easy Tech Sales Associate for Staples, where they diagnosed PC and networking issues, repaired and fixed PC issues, and provided customer solutions. Additionally, since 2000, they have been an Instructor at Emerald Dragon Karate of Slatington, where they help students learn and grow in the art of Sa-Gi-Do and currently holds a Jr. Master Rank.

Brian Kates attended Northern Lehigh High School from 2004 to 2008, and Lehigh Carbon Community College thereafter. No additional certifications are noted.
