Xavier Guzman has been working in the IT industry since 1986. From 1986 to 1991 they worked for several companies in Guayaquil, Ecuador as an IT Staff. From 1991 to 1999 they worked for XEROX Ecuador as an Ingeniero de Impresión Láser, providing solutions for forms and technical support, as well as installing and configuring PCs. From 1999 to 2006 they worked for LBM Systems as a Support Engineer & Network Administrator, providing general office network administration, support, configuration, IT management for purchases and recommendations, and application development. From 2006 to present, they have been working as an IT Consultant for Xavier Guzman IT Consulting Professional, providing consulting services for IT infrastructure, analyzing costs viability and sustainability, and IT support for small businesses and individuals. Additionally, since 2016 they have been a Coach/Mentor for middle school students for Lego EV3 Robotics, teaching basics of EV3 and helping with the engineering process to find solutions to problems/challenges using the EV3 device.

Xavier Guzman has a diverse educational background. Xavier obtained their MBA in Business Administration from ESPAE between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they earned an Electric Engineer degree from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral between 1986 and 1991. Xavier also holds a high school diploma from San Jose La Salle, which they obtained between 1972 and 1985. In addition to their formal education, Guzman has obtained a number of certifications, including SEL Strategies in Times of Uncertainty & Stress from Yale University in 2020, CB0103EN: How to Build Chatbots and Make Money from edX in 2019, Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2019, and several others from Coursera, edX, IBM, Microsoft, and VMWare.
