Simon Weeks

Simon Weeks is a seasoned professional in the precious metals industry with extensive experience in advisory and leadership roles. Currently, Simon serves as a Senior Advisor at LBMA and as the Chief Executive Officer of 9999Consulting Ltd, focusing on good business practices and sustainable market development. Previously, Simon was an Oversight Committee Member at ICE Benchmarks Administration from February 2015 to February 2022, and held a long tenure at Scotiabank as Managing Director from December 1997 to October 2019. Earlier in career, Simon chaired the LBMA from 2002 to 2006 and served as Director at Standard Chartered Bank from March 1982 to December 1997.
