Grant Christie has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Grant began their career at North & West Wiltshire Magistrates Court as a Fines Enforcement Officer, where they managed the fines enforcement team and coordinated court attendance and collection of fines and compensation. Grant also liaised with various agencies and maintained court attendance registers.

After their tenure at the court, Grant joined London & Country Mortgages, where they held various roles. As an Administrative support, they were responsible for managing mortgage and protection applications, including liaising with clients, lenders, providers, and solicitors. Grant also played a key role in the transition from a paper-based to an online application system.

Grant then moved on to become an Operations & Compliance Assistant at London & Country Mortgages, where they conducted review activity, provided compliance advice, and handled anti-money laundering responsibilities. Grant later took on the position of a Health and Safety Specialist, overseeing the implementation, review, and coordination of health and safety policies, processes, risk assessments, and controls for two sites and over 800 staff members. Currently, Grant is working as a Compliance Monitoring Manager at London & Country Mortgages. In this role, they manage 2nd line thematic reviews and regular monitoring activities, assessing regulatory and conduct risk within the organization. Grant also develops monitoring plans for board approval.

Grant Christie attended Queen Victoria School from 1985 to 1993. Grant then went on to study at Chippenham College from 1993 to 1995. Grant did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study at either institution.
