Elledge also serves as a part-time Doctor of Optometry at LasikPlus in San Antonio and Austin since September 2022. Previously, Elledge had a distinguished military career in the US Army, retiring in April 2023, and holding various leadership positions in optometry at several Army medical centers from 2006 to 2022, including Chief of Optometry at Brooke Army Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center. Elledge's educational background includes a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, an MBA in Health Care Administration from City University of New York-Baruch College, and a fellowship in Clinical Management from the State University of New York College of Optometry.
