Alice Voigt has extensive experience in accessibility, currently serving as an Accessibility Specialist at LCM Architects since December 2018 and at Indiana University Bloomington since August 2006. Voigt's role at the National Center on Accessibility involves promoting access and inclusion for individuals with disabilities in parks, recreation, and tourism, along with instructing at nationwide trainings. Prior to these positions, Voigt worked as an Accessibility Coordinator at the Southwest Center for Independent Living from August 2000 to July 2006, where technical assistance and information related to disability laws and regulations were provided to consumers and agencies. Additionally, Voigt served as an Area Coordinator at Missouri State University, managing residence halls and supervising staff. Voigt holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from PennWest Edinboro and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts/Theatre from Allegheny College.
