Allison Adams Guste

Allison Adams Guste currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer at University Medical Center New Orleans and has held the role of Interim Chief Nursing Officer since October 2023. Guste possesses extensive experience in nursing leadership, having worked at LCMC Health since June 2018 as Corporate Vice President, Nursing and Clinical Services, and previously as System Vice President, Quality and Nursing, and AVP of Clinical and Operational Excellence. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operations Officer and Director of Operations at LSU Healthcare Network, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing daily operations of Ambulatory Academic Physician offices and women's services. Guste began the career as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Tech at Touro Infirmary and later worked as Practice Manager at Crescent City Physicians, overseeing cardiology and surgery departments. Guste holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from LSU Shreveport and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LSUHSC School of Nursing.
