David Fiedler

David Fiedler has over 20 years of work experience. David began their career working as a Finance/Loan Officer at American General Finance from 1994 to 1995. David then moved on to work as a Development Officer at The LCMS Foundation from 1995 to 1997, where they cultivated donors and managed the annual giving program. David then joined the United States Army Reserve in 1993 as an Officer and served as a unit headquarters commander for a large medical unit. In 1997, they returned to The LCMS and held various roles including Senior Manager of Human Resources and Executive Director of General Services. In these positions, they managed business services and facility support for two facilities, directed a week-long national event with over 1000 participants, and oversaw various other responsibilities. In 2003, Fiedler also became an Author, Screenwriter, and Playwright, and wrote a book called "The Enemy Among Us: POWs in Missouri During WWII" which gained recognition and won several awards. Currently, Fiedler is the President of LCMS Foundation, where they have successfully worked with donors to create future planned gifts and manages a significant amount of trust and investment assets.

David Fiedler completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and German from Washington University in St. Louis between 1989 and 1993. In 1991, they obtained a language certificate in German from Goethe-Institut in Gottingen, Germany. Fiedler pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Lindenwood University between 1995 and 1998. Additionally, they received a Cannon Trust Fundamentals certification from Cannon Financial Institute, although the specific dates for this achievement are not provided.
