Ilka Komatsu

Ilka Komatsu is the Director of Client Relations at LCR Capital Partners and is based in California. She is responsible for providing world-class service and sales support for clients and managing the operations of LCR’s Brazil office.

Prior to joining LCR, Ilka spent 3 years at Rio Bravo Investimentos, a leading $3.5 billion Brazilian investment management firm where she was a Senior Analyst for the Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds. Before Rio Bravo, Ilka worked in trading of commodities at Itochu Corporation in Brazil, a Japanese trading company.

Ilka lived in San Francisco (CA) for five years, where she worked in Private Client Services for Union Bank of California, Robertson Stephens and Bear Stearns.

Ilka earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and attended the Corporate Finance Extension Program at UC Berkeley.
