Trevor Safko

Trevor Safko is an experienced professional in the energy and regulatory sectors, currently serving as an ERCOT Regulatory Analyst at LCRA since May 2024. Prior to this role, Trevor held multiple positions at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables, including Product Director and Senior Product Manager, from January 2021 to May 2024. Trevor's background also includes a tenure at Genscape, Inc. as Associate Director, Senior Analyst, and Analyst from January 2017 to January 2021. Before entering the industry, Trevor was a Research and Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University, focusing on Photochemistry and Physical Organic chemistry, while also completing a Ph.D. in Photochemistry. Trevor began an academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Villanova University, graduating in 2011. Trevor’s early experience includes an internship with the SRE Group at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from September 2006 to August 2010.
