Traci McBee

Traci McBee has over 16 years of experience in corporate communications and public affairs. Traci is currently serving as the Corporate Communications Director at LCS since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Corporate Communications Manager at LCS.

Previously, Traci worked at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 9 years, holding various roles such as Senior Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Team Leader of Corporate Communications, and Public Relations Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication strategies, media relations, crisis communication, and community health efforts.

Traci started their career at Mercy Medical Center - Des Moines in 2006 as a PR & Marketing Supervisor. Traci led strategic marketing and public relations initiatives for key service lines and facility projects, and also served as the Public Information Officer in the Mercy Crisis Management team.

Traci McBee attended Buena Vista University from 1988 to 1989 but did not complete a degree or declare a field of study. Traci then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications/Journalism with a focus on Public Relations at the University of Northern Iowa from 1990 to 1993.
