Álvaro González Carvajal has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Álvaro began their career as a Responsible for Credit and Financing at Leroy Merlin España in 2004. Later, they worked as a Redactor en prácticas at Europa Press and elEconomista in 2006 and 2007 respectively. In 2008, Álvaro served as an Executive Account at steinberg y asociados s.l. for two years.
In 2010, they joined Grupo Tragsa as a Técnico Relaciones Institucionales, where they managed Internal and External Communication. Afterward, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria from 2011 to 2017. Álvaro'sresponsibilities included strategic planning, brand positioning, market analysis, event organization, and the execution and monitoring of direct and online marketing campaigns.
From 2017 to 2018, Álvaro served as a Sales and Marketing Director at Laureate International Universities, leading admissions for Postgraduate, Graduate, and CFGS programs and achieving a total growth of over 20 percent.
Currently, Álvaro González Carvajal works as a Sales and Marketing Director at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, a new and exciting project that achieved close to 10 percent growth in its first year.
Álvaro González Carvajal obtained a Licenciatura in Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they also completed a Licenciatura in Periodismo from the same institution. In the earlier years, between 2002 and 2005, Álvaro pursued a Licenciatura in Ciencias Económicas at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
