Chris Whitney

Chris Whitney has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in management and outdoor recreation. Currently serving as President of C.R. Whitney & Son, Incorporated since January 1992, Whitney also holds positions as Events/Tasting Room Help at Blair Estate Winery since July 2012 and Promoter at Le-Vel.com since November 2015. Previous roles include Sales Manager at Abinante Music from September 1991 to January 1995, Chief Ranger at Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority from 1988 to 1991, Chief Ranger at Smith Mountain Lake State Park in 1987-1988, and Interpretive Ranger with the National Park Service from 1984 to 1986. Early experience includes working as a Carpenter/Painter part-time for the family construction company from January 1973 to January 1981. Chris Whitney earned a BA in Recreation Administration from California State University, Chico between 1981 and 1984.
