Dr. Karsten McGovern

Dr. Karsten McGovern is a seasoned professional in energy management and public administration, currently serving as Geschäftsführer at LEA LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen since January 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. McGovern was the Leiter der hessischen Landesenergieagentur at HA Hessen Agentur GmbH from May 2017 to January 2020. Additional experience includes a position in Schulentwicklung at Blista from September 2016 to April 2017, freelance consultancy from 2014 to 2016, and significant service as Erster Kreisbeigeordneter and later Kreisbeigeordneter in Landkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf from 2001 to 2014. Dr. McGovern holds a Diplom and Dr. phil in Politikwissenschaft from The Philipp University of Marburg, completed between 1989 and 1992.
