Drew Hintze

Drew Hintze has worked in the legal field since 2009. Theirprofessional experience includes working as a Managing Attorney for Employers Council since 2019, an Assistant City Attorney for the Denver City Attorney's Office from 2014 to 2019, an Associate Attorney for Martinez Law Group, P.C. from 2012 to 2014, a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael A. Martinez for the Second Judicial District Court of Colorado from 2010 to 2012, and a Contract Attorney for Lerman & Associates, P.C. from 2009 to 2010. During their time as an Assistant City Attorney, Hintze assisted in the internal investigation and ultimate resolution of highly publicized and community impacting officer-involved civil rights issues, second-chaired counsel in a 3-day civil rights federal jury trial, and defended city agencies and employees in all phases of the litigation process. As an Associate Attorney, Hintze second-chaired counsel in a 7-day arbitration representing a former CEO of a publicly traded company, and second-chaired counsel in a 3-day arbitration successfully enforcing a worldwide restrictive covenant and obtaining permanent injunctive relief and an award for attorneys' fees and costs. As a Contract Attorney, Hintze researched and analyzed commercial and employment law issues and prepared memoranda and briefs for trial proceedings, assisted in the deposition and discovery process, interviewed clients and witnesses, and performed an internal investigation for a non-profit organization regarding racial discrimination allegations.

Drew Hintze obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2005, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Drew then went on to receive their Master of Science in Legal Administration (M.S.L.A.) from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law in 2006. In 2009, they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI in May 2022.
