Valorie Waldon, SPHR SHRM-SCP

Valorie Waldon, SPHR SHRM-SCP has worked in the Human Resources field for over 28 years. Valorie began their career in 1991 as a Personnel Analyst for the City of Lakewood Colorado. In 1994 they moved to the City of Greenwood Village as the Administrative Services Director/HR Director. In 2006, they became a Franchise Owner of PrideStaff. From 2007 to 2014, they held the role of Director, Integrated Human Capital Services (HR and OD) and HR Consultant at Employers Council. In 2009, they took on the role of Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Rocky Vista University. In 2012, they became the Senior Director, Human Resources at Tucker Advisory Group. Finally, in 2014 they became the Senior Director Human Resources for Professional Pediatric Home Care and Reach Pediatric Therapy Services. In 2008, they also founded Waldon HR Advisors, LLC.

Valorie Waldon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado. Valorie also holds certifications as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Crucial Conversations Trainer, Denison Certified Professional Consultant (DCP), Organizational Development from the Mountain States Employers Council, Qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner from the Association for Psychological Type, SHRM-SCP from SHRM, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
