Edoardo Merli

Edoardo Merli is an accomplished student currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution. Edoardo participated as a mentee in the selective LeadTheFuture Mentorship program, aimed at empowering students in STEM. Experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC San Diego, where Edoardo developed a website for sharing data on genes linked to insulin resistance, and an internship as a Software Engineer at Imola Informatica, focusing on load testing and performance evaluation for banking applications. Previous experience also includes a software internship at Azienda Ausl Di Imola, where projects involved automating medical report printing and data entry tasks using Python. An exchange program at UC San Diego further complemented Edoardo's education, enhancing proficiency in computer science.
