Spencer Pingry currently serves as the VP of Software Architecture at Optimizely, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this, Spencer was the Co-CEO, CTO, and Co-Founder of Zaius from April 2014 to April 2021, where a Customer Data Platform was developed to enhance marketer capabilities and consumer relationships, culminating in Zaius's acquisition by Optimizely. Spencer also co-founded VoodooLunchbox, creating a real-time event analytics platform for enterprise user behavior analysis. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Federal Systems Engineering at Netezza, where the focus was on large-scale data computing challenges, and as a Software Engineer at AOL, optimizing project performance. Spencer began the career as a Developer at DIYOnline.com after attaining an education at the University of Arizona.
