Dana Carr

Dana Carr's work experience includes serving as the Executive Director and Director of Arts and Education at Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center, Inc from 2009 to present. Dana has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County since 2022, a Technical Assistance Provider at MENTOR Maryland | DC since 2022, and a Professional Learning Consultant at Discovery Education since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director at Symone Center for Theatre Arts from 2008 to 2015, and a Teacher at Baltimore County Public Schools from 2004 to 2015.

Dana Carr has a diverse education history in the arts and education. They obtained a Teaching Artist Certificate from The University of the Arts in 2016 and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Towson University in 2011. In 2007, they earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, focusing on Secondary Education. Prior to that, Dana Carr received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre/Theater from New York University in 2004 and a High School Diploma from the Baltimore School for the Arts in 2001. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Teaching Artistry from the University of the Arts and as an Administrator I from the Maryland State Department of Education.
