Alexa Fimenich

Alexa is an Associate based in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. She is a strategist, investor and facilitator on the climate crisis based on deep ecology principles. She is the founder of Ground Effect, an animist investment vehicle that targets early-stage, nature-based solutions and environmental regeneration. As an author, poet, photographer, and wilderness guide, Alexa designs learning journeys that bring stakeholders into direct contact with the living world. Alexa is a founding board member of Terra Habitus, a Mexican environmental fund that operates conservation and environmental management projects, a founding board member of the Mare Nostrum Ocean Plastics Initiative, and a Board Member of ecological accounting firm Global Footprint Network.
