Leadership Greater Chicago
Leadership Greater Chicago is a 30-year-old nonprofit organization that cultivates Chicago’s business, public and civic leaders through a deeper understanding of the issues facing our community and each other, helping them to build a better Chicago. Through its Fellows Program, LGC provides a foundation for a lifelong commitment to civic engagement by creating awareness of key issues facing the Chicago region and challenges leaders to bring about positive change in the community. Each year, the Program brings together a select group of Chicago’s leaders to explore key challenges facing the Chicago region. Each Fellow brings with them a unique perspective and expertise that, combined with others, paints a more complete picture of the issues facing our community and the world. The 10-month Fellows Program examines complex issues up close, using a series of retreats, seminars and community visits to bring our Fellows face-to-face with the people directly affected by the toughest issues that impact the region.
