Zachary Marschall, PhD, is a seasoned publishing and editorial professional currently serving as Editor In Chief and previously as Managing Editor at Campus Reform within the Leadership Institute since May 2021. Prior to this role, Zachary held the position of Publications Manager at International Arts & Artists from December 2019 to May 2021. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Clutch.co as Content and Editorial Associate and Editor, and various roles at The Policy Studies Organization, culminating in Director of Publishing and Program Development. Zachary earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Cultural Studies from George Mason University, a Master of Arts in Arts Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies and Politics from New York University.

Leadership Institute

Founded in 1979 by its president, Morton C. Blackwell, LI provides training in campaigns, fundraising, grassroots organizing, youth politics, and communications. The Institute teaches conservatives of all ages how to succeed in politics, government, and the media. The Institute offers 47 types of training schools, workshops, and seminars; a free employment placement service; and a national field program that trains conservative students to organize campus groups. Since 1979, LI has trained more than 230,000 conservative activists, leaders, and students. The Institute's unique college campus network has grown to more than 1,700 conservative campus groups and newspapers.
