Steve Von Hoene

Steve Von Hoene has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steve started their career at Cintas Corporation in 1985, where they served as a Service Manager and Sales Representative. At Cintas, they managed existing uniform rental customers, supervised a team of service representatives, and also focused on profitable new business growth.

After leaving Cintas, Steve worked at Hubert as a Product Manager for Display Fixtures. In this role, they worked closely with sales departments, accompanied reps on sales calls, prospected new markets, managed trade show participation, and assisted with various marketing initiatives.

Steve then joined Carew International in 1997 as the Vice President of Sales. Here, they managed major existing accounts, developed new business, facilitated training programs, and provided sales coaching to representatives and managers.

In 2003, Steve became the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at JRS Learning Enterprises. In addition to client acquisition and management responsibilities, they facilitated various JRS programs and consulted on sales, management, and training issues.

Steve later served as the Director of Instructor-Led Development at Rapid Learning Institute from 2011 to 2017. In this role, Steve facilitated skill-development and train-the-trainer sessions for clients and provided coaching and advice to sales managers.

From 2006 to 2021, Steve held multiple roles at Journey Learning, LLC. As the President, they formally assessed worker competence and commitment, created and delivered learning experiences for sales, customer service, and management personnel, and conducted coaching sessions. Additionally, they worked as a LifePREP life-skills coach, helping individuals develop personal awareness, interpersonal effectiveness, and tactical skills for life.

Most recently, Steve joined the Leadership Pipeline Institute in 2021 as a Learning Facilitator. As a certified facilitator, they deliver the institute's "Leading Others" program, helping individuals transition from being individual contributors to leaders of others.

Steve Von Hoene attended the University of Cincinnati from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Management. Steve also attended the University of Dayton at an unspecified time and did not receive a degree. Before attending college, Steve completed their high school education at Purcell Marian High School. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Leading Others" from the Leadership Pipeline Institute in July 2018.
