Christopher Whitmore

Christopher Whitmore is a Richmond native and has aspired to serve his community through public service since childhood. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Law from Webster University in St. Louis, MO in 2014, and worked as an intern in the United States Senate in Washington, D.C. before returning home to Richmond.

After returning home, Christopher became the Outreach Coordinator for West Contra Costa County in the Office of Congressman Mark DeSaulnier and managed Congressman DeSaulnier’s Richmond office. Christopher is currently working in the Office of Richmond Mayor Tom Butt as the Director of Community Engagement.

Christopher remains an active member of the LPS-Richmond community by speaking at school events, providing students internship opportunities, and serving on the Alumni Advisory Board.
