Linda Itoka

Network Administrator on Special Assignment at Leadership Public Schools

Dr. Linda Itoka is an Administrator on Special Assignment at LPS and is part of our Teacher Learning Team (TLT), supporting teacher coaching and multilingual learners. Dr. Itoka attended San Francisco State University (B.A.), Cal State East Bay (Educator & Admin Credentials), City University Seattle WA (M.A.), and Oakland City University, IN (Ed.D.). Her hometown is St. Louis, MO, home of the mighty Redwings of Central High.

Dr. Itoka facilitates opportunities to encourage transformative growth with others and is a life-long learner. Prior to LPS, she worked with English language learners and taught 9th grade English. She has also been an assistant principal. Her expertise is cultural responsiveness, equity, inclusion, and belonging. She is also passionate about collecting cultural artifacts. Her interests are traveling, meeting new people, reading, writing, dancing, watching sci-fi as well as nature films, and documentaries. Dr. Itoka and her husband have children and grandchildren who reside nationally and across the globe.
