Marlene Gutierrez

Marlene Gutierrez is an Oakland native who comes from a charter school background, her high school being Oakland Unity, Goooo Tigers! Marlene has been working in the field of education for 7 years in many different roles, from After School Director to School Office Administrator. She is extremely passionate about creating positive change in her community and is always looking to make innovative ideas come to life. Outside of work, Marlene enjoys learning new baking recipes, practicing her Quidditch skills, and walking her Husky Zuki. Marlene is extremely excited and enthusiastic to be joining the LPS community and feels honored to be able to contribute to its mission to create educational equity.
