Andrew Hardy

General Manager, Data Centres at Leading Edge Data Centres

Andrew Hardy has over 20 years of experience in the Telecoms, Data Centre, and Managed Services industry. Andrew worked as a Senior Key Account Manager for British Telecom and held various roles in Engineering, Marketing, and Sales at STC. In 2000, they played a key role in the business plan for a Sydney Data Centre that became Global Switch, where they secured $200M in funding before being appointed as Regional Sales Director. Hardy then founded and served as the Commercial Director of Harbour MSP, which was eventually sold to NTT Communications. Andrew also worked as the Director of Sales at NTT Communications ICT Solutions and as the Director of Business Development at DCI Data Centers. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Centre and Managed Services Consultant at Andrew Hardy Consulting. Most recently, Hardy has been working as the General Manager of Data Centres at Leading Edge Data Centres, where they lead the strategy, management, and growth of data centres and edge networks across Australia.

Andrew Hardy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Middlesex University between the years 1980 and 1984. Andrew then pursued an HND (Higher National Diploma) in Industrial Marketing from Middlesex University between 1984 and 1986.
