Leading Women of Tomorrow
Kennedy Huntsman is a dedicated professional with a background in political science and women's, gender, and sexuality studies from Ohio University. Currently serving as a Graduate Assistant and Senior Office Assistant at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Kennedy also holds the position of Civic Fellow at You Can Vote. Past experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and Young Leaders Civic Action Fellow at Democracy House, where Kennedy developed strategies for Narcan education and organized student volunteers. As Budget Committee Chairperson and Senator with Ohio University Student Senate, Kennedy advocated for the needs of female-identifying students and secured funding for menstrual product accessibility. Additional roles include Campus Coordinator for the Feminist Majority Foundation and Fellowship experiences with the Lex Fellowship and Democracy House Young Leaders Summer Institute, focusing on leadership and civic engagement.
