Douglas Martins

Douglas Martins has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and computer science. Douglas is currently working at Leaf Agriculture as a Lead Software Engineer since February 2020. In this role, they are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the microservice-based API infrastructure that processes and presents agriculture machinery operations data. Douglas integrates with various agriculture manufacturers' APIs and performs data cleaning and standardization using Python libraries. Additionally, they generate geo-processed images and field operation statistics using GDAL, GeoPandas, NumPy, and GeoPandas. Douglas also develops a data conversion API using the ADAPT Framework and .NET.

Prior to Leaf Agriculture, Douglas worked at Laboratório de Segurança em Computação as a Software Development Project Manager from February 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they were a Junior Software Engineer in the same company from March 2015 to February 2018.

Douglas also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from March 2014 to December 2014.
