Jacob Herman

Jacob Herman has extensive work experience in various roles at LEAF Commercial Capital, Inc. Jacob started in 2009 as a Business Analyst in the Finance department before becoming the Manager of Cash Applications in 2010. In this role, they successfully implemented a digital filing system, reducing process time by over 85%. Jacob then transitioned to the position of Project Manager in 2012, where they managed numerous initiatives across all aspects of the business. Currently, they hold the role of Director of IT Project Management and Business Solutions. Aside from their time at LEAF, Jacob also worked at LEAF Financial Corporation as a Cash Applications Representative from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they spent seven years at Lighting One, where they held various roles including Order-fulfillment Supervisor, Customer Service Manager, and Inside Sales Representative. During their time at Lighting One, they implemented a warehouse inventory tracking and analysis platform.

Jacob Herman attended the University of Delaware from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy. Jacob then pursued further education at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and the University of Haifa, although the specific duration and degrees obtained are unknown. Jacob also holds additional certifications, including being a Certified STRIPES Leader from STRIPES Leadership since June 2022, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute since November 2013.
