Yabsra Abdurahman

Yabsra Abdurahman has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Yabsra began their career as a Mentor at iCog Labs in 2019, where they provided guidance to competing startups. Yabsra then interned at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology in Ethiopia, followed by an internship at LangBot Inc., where they learned React.js and built UI components.

In 2019, Yabsra also worked as an Intern Programme Officer at Addis Ababa University, where they contributed to the design of the university's incubation center. Yabsra continued to gain experience as a Software Engineer at Gigs Ethiopia from September 2020 to June 2021.

In 2021, Yabsra joined eQUB as a Mobile Application Developer, where they honed their skills in mobile development. Yabsra then transitioned to Affable.ai as a Junior Mobile Engineer, before taking on a role as a Frontend Engineer at Leaf Global Fintech. Additionally, they currently work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan.

Yabsra's work experience showcases their proficiency in various areas, including mentorship, UI design, mobile development, and research assistance.

Yabsra Abdurahman attended the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Yabsra also obtained several certifications. In December 2019, they completed the "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)" course from Coursera. They further enhanced their skills by completing the "AI For Everyone" course in October 2019. Yabsra's certification journey continued with the completion of the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" course in March 2020, also from Coursera.
