Rachel Pavilanis

Rachel Pavilanis is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Leafly since September 2019, previously holding the position of Software Engineer II. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Avvo from February 2017 to September 2019, where collaboration with software engineers and UI/UX designers focused on enhancing key web app pages. Rachel began professional development as a Software Engineer Intern at Doug Clark Creative and Capture Me Films from January 2013 to August 2016, specializing in WordPress design and client collaboration. Prior to entering the tech industry, Rachel was a School Psychologist for Springfield School District in Oregon from December 2011 to June 2016, engaging in various educational support roles and providing training in behavioral systems. Rachel holds a Master of Science in School Psychology from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & French from Western Michigan University, along with training from Ada Developer's Academy.
