Thomas Brandenburg is currently the CEO of LEAG Clean Power GmbH, a position held since 2025. From 2023 to 2024, Thomas served as the Technischer Geschäftsführer at Grupa GPEC. Prior to that, they were the Abteilungsleiter Aufbaustab neue Erzeugung at Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH between 2019 and 2023, where they planned and constructed new power plants in Leipzig. Thomas also held two leadership roles at Siemens AG from 2016 to 2019, focusing on gas turbine and combined cycle power plant testing and validation. They earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in fluid mechanics and turbo machines, from Technische Universität Dresden from 2002 to 2008.
