Waleed Hojeij

Waleed Hojeij serves as a Legislative and Policy Analyst at the League of California Cities, a position held since June 2022, where significant contributions are made to policy development impacting local governments in California through thorough research and analysis. Previously, Waleed held the role of Measure U Community Advisory Commissioner for the City of Sacramento, providing oversight on local sales tax funding decisions from March to December 2024. Additional experience includes serving as a Legislative Aide at California Advocates, a Crew Lead for the City's Landscape and Learning Program, and various internships at organizations such as Valley Vision and Health Access California, focusing on data analysis and policy advocacy for healthcare. Waleed's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University.
