Leonardo de Moura is a highly experienced professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Senior Principal Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) since April 2023 and as Chief Architect and Board Member at Lean FRO since July 2023. Prior to these roles, Leonardo held multiple positions at Microsoft Research from August 2006 to March 2023, including Senior Principal Researcher, Principal Researcher, and Senior Researcher. Earlier in their career, Leonardo worked as a Computer Scientist at SRI International from February 2001 to August 2006. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science, a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, and a degree in Computer Engineering, all from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
