Christoffer Silen

Christoffer Silen currently serves as a Senior Operations Engineer at Danfoss Climate Solutions since April 2022, after previously holding the position of Project Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Project Engineer trainee at ISS Palvelut from April 2019 to August 2021, focusing on critical environments and collaborating with clients from various sectors. As a professional sailor from 2014 to 2018 on the Sailing Team Silén, Christoffer participated in an Olympic project for Tokyo 2020, dedicating over 200 days to training and racing while managing logistics and finances. Additionally, experience as a Sailing Instructor at Nyländska Jaktklubben NJK from March 2012 to September 2016 involved coaching both beginner and experienced youth sailors. Christoffer holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Vaasa (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Engineering in HVAC and Energy Engineering from Arcada University of Applied Sciences (2016-2021). Shorter educational experiences include military and strategic leadership training at Aliupseerikoulu in 2015 and completion of secondary education at brändö gymnasium (2011-2014).
