Katie Boody is the CEO and founder of LEANLAB Education. Katie has dedicated their career to education and improving educational outcomes for all students. Katie began their career as a corps member with Teach For America, where they taught for two years in an underserved community. Katie then became an instructional coach at Alta Vista Charter Middle School, where they worked to improve teaching and learning. In 2013, they founded LEANLAB Education, which provides innovative solutions to help educators and schools improve student outcomes. Katie is passionate about education and believes that all students deserve access to a high-quality education.

Katie Boody completed their undergraduate degree at Western Washington University with a major in English Literature and a minor in Dance and Film Studies. Katie then pursued their Masters of Education at Rockhurst University in the field of English Language and Literature with a focus on Middle School. Katie is currently an Education Specialist at the University of Central Missouri in Educational Leadership and Administration.
