Terry Ward is a Board Member at LEANLAB Education. Terry has over fifteen years of experience as a consultant in the areas of philanthropy, school finance, and strategic planning. Terry is currently conducting research on the impact of economic development incentives. In addition to their consulting work, Terry has also taught courses on public administration, public policy, and nonprofit finance at the university level.
Most recently, Terry served as a consultant to the co-directors of The Rabbit Hole - an immersive experience focused around children's literature. This new organization is built around the concept of interactive, live exploration of children's books augmented with the capability to write your own story, illustrate your own story, print your own book, and buy a book at a children's book store.
Prior to their work with The Rabbit Hole, Terry was an adjunct professor of education leadership at Northwest Missouri State University and adjunct professor of nonprofit leadership at William Jewell College. Terry also spent three years as a project manager with J.E. Dunn Construction Company and sixteen years as an assistant vice president with H&R Block.
Terry Ward has a PhD in Public Policy and Education Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Rockhurst University, and a degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
