Guillaume Tanier

Guillaume Tanier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2002, they interned at Société Européenne d'Automatisme, where they gained experience in engineering, sales, and marketing. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Institut Supérieur d'Informatique Appliquée, completing three co-op internships in various software companies.

In 2008, Tanier joined Akka Technologies as a Software Engineer, providing support to customer teams in software implementation and validation. After that, they interned at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2011, conducting research on lava tubes and developing operational concepts for their exploration.

In 2012, they became a Space & Software specialist at Altran Defence&Space, providing onsite support at AirbusDS and Safran. In 2013, Tanier joined CGI, where they held multiple roles, including Space Software Engineer, Bid Manager & Sales Representative, Business Development Manager - Ground Segment Systems, and Director Consulting Services, Space Data Systems Transformation.

In 2010, they co-founded bien-situé.fr, a start-up focused on real estate applications based on geo-intelligence data. Tanier served as the Co-founder & CTO, overseeing the development and operation of the web platform.

Most recently, they co-founded Leanspace SAS in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Co-founder & CEO.

Guillaume Tanier's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar. Guillaume completed their DUT GEii degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering in 2004. In 2005, Tanier attended INSIA Paris where they pursued an Engineer's degree equivalent to a Master of Science in Computer and Software Engineering. Guillaume graduated from INSIA Paris in 2008. In 2004-2005, Tanier studied at Liverpool John Moores University, where they earned a B.Eng degree in Communications and Computer Engineering. Finally, in 2010-2011, Tanier attended the International Space University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Space Studies.
