Juan Mahíllo

Juan Mahíllo has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. Juan began their career in 2003 as a Project Manager at HP, where they led critical projects with Telefónica, including Macrolan-Metrolan migration, Video Surveillance, and Hot-Spot. In 2008, they moved to CA as a Presales and Professional Services Consultant. In 2009, they became the Chief Product Officer at Lucierna, which was later acquired by SmartBear. At SmartBear, they served as Product Director for Lucierna APM, where they defined the development process, generated user stories and wireframes, studied the APM space market, and coordinated with PMM to generate product documentation and white papers. In 2017, they joined Instaply as Product Director, and in 2018 they became the CRO at LeanXcale.

Juan Mahíllo began their educational career by obtaining an Ingeniero Superior Telecomunicaciones degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 1994 and 2002, with a focus in Telemática. Juan then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from the INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon between 2000 and 2001, specializing in Telecom. In 2012, they completed a Master's Degree in Innovation Management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial. In 2018, they obtained two certifications, a PSM I from Scrum.org and a PSPO I. Juan is currently enrolled in an online course at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2023 and will focus on Business Strategy.
