Ricardo Jiménez-Peris

Ricardo Jiménez-Peris has a strong background in distributed systems and cloud computing. Ricardo is the CEO & Founder of LeanXcale since March 2015. Before that, they served as the Scientific and Technical Director at LeanBigData from February 2014 to January 2017. Ricardo also held the same position at CoherentPaaS from October 2013 to September 2016. Prior to these roles, they were the Distributed Systems Lab Co-Director at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from January 2001 to March 2015. Ricardo has also worked as a Technical Project Coordinator at CumuloNimbo and Project Coordinator at CLOUDS and Stream. Additionally, they gained experience as a Postdoc Researcher at ETH Zürich from October 1999 to December 2000.

Ricardo Jiménez-Peris's education history is as follows. Ricardo completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Ingeniería informática from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1985 to 1990. Following that, they pursued their PhD in Ingeniería informática from the same university, graduating in the year 1999. Immediately after, from 1999 to 2000, Ricardo Jiménez-Peris conducted postdoctoral research at ETH Zürich.
