Usama Fayyad

Dr. Usama Fayyad, globally recognized as an AI and data expert, is the Chairman & Founder of Open Insights. His current role as the Inaugural Director of the Institute for Experiential AI at Northeastern University. His strategic leadership is demonstrated by his roles as Chief Data Officer at Barclays Bank and being the first to hold the Chief Data Officer title when Yahoo! acquired his second startup out of Microsoft. A Ph.D. holder from The University of Michigan, he has numerous technical articles and patents. As an AAAI & ACM Fellow, his tech innovation experience is remarkable.
