Betsy Bernard

Betsy Bernard has a long and varied work experience. Betsy began their career in 1989 as Human Resources Director at AT&T, where they were promoted to Vice President of Data Communications Services, Vice President of Business Network Sales, and Vice President of Product Management. In 1997, they became President and CEO of Avirnex Communications Group. Betsy then joined CenturyLink in 1998 as Executive Vice President of Qwest Communications and Executive Vice President of US WEST. From 2001 to 2009 they were President and CEO of AT&T Consumer and President of AT&T Business. In 2014, they took on the role of Lead Director at SITO Mobile, and in 2018 they became Director of Leap. Betsy is currently the Chairwoman of the Board of Family Promise, Inc.

Betsy Bernard received their Bachelor's degree in Government from Saint Lawrence University in 1977. Betsy then went on to earn their Masters of Business Administration in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981. In 1988, they completed their Masters in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Finally, they were awarded an honorary PHD from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2003.
