Marta Butler

Marta Butler has been working in the real estate industry since 2006. Marta began their career as a Jr. Contract Administrator Intern with American Invsco in 2006. Marta then moved on to Equity Residential as a Sales Assistant Intern in 2007. In 2008, they began working with BH Management Services, Inc. as a Property Manager, where their primary responsibilities included overseeing the daily processes and procedures for a 352-unit community, handling hiring & training, purchasing & payables, lease administration, budget preparation, weekly & monthly reporting, community events, and much more. Additionally, they performed all leasing tasks and sales presentations in combination with the leasing staff, as well as created marketing and resident retention programs. In 2015, they joined BH Management Services, LLC as a General Manager and Property Manager, currently managing a 1523-unit luxury apartment community undergoing full exterior and interior renovations. Marta is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, training, hiring, resident relations, etc. In 2019, they took on the role of Director of National Partnerships at Leap.

Marta Butler holds a Master's of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology - Organizational Effectiveness from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, which they obtained in 2011. Marta also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University, which they obtained in 2008. Additionally, they hold a certification in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Northwestern University - Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, which they obtained in May 2022, and a Zumba Basic 1 certification from Zumba, which they obtained in June 2014.
