Jae-Beom Bae

Jae-Beom Bae is the Senior Market Operations Manager at Leap. Prior to this, they worked as a consultant for PA Consulting and was responsible for leading the capacity markets team and overseeing data-intensive analyses for electricity markets across North America. Jae-Beom has also advised developers, utilities, financial institutions on investment strategies by helping them understand key market trends & opportunities. Jae-Beom Bae has also managed >30 projects in fast-paced environments, spearheading quantitative analysis and presenting results to key client executives. Jae-Beom has also introduced Agile to our projects, saving >$3M/yr.

Prior to PA Consulting, Jae-Beom Bae founded ed-tech startup SagePath where they led a cross-functional team by driving product vision, strategy, and roadmap - from conception to launch. Jae-Beom also spearheaded the UX, web dev, and data science of Beta product, using modern web technologies like React, APIs, Firebase, and Node.js (all self-taught, no former background). Jae-Beom incorporated user feedback & analytics by making major improvements in the UX (i.e. onboarding, feature refinements), boosting engagement by +50%.
