Nico del Pozo

Nico del Pozo is a Data Engineer at Leap. Nico previously worked as a Data Engineer at Plexus Tech - Melia Hotels from March 2021 to November 2021. Nico was responsible for building the Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Marts using AWS data services (EMR, S3, Glue, EC2, Aurora, DMS, Lambda, Athena). Nico also designed, developed and maintained scalable ETLs. Nico has also worked as a Big Data Engineer at Ayesa from December 2019 to March 2021. Nico was responsible for the analysis of large volumes of data in order to identify new sources, and communication with Data Scientists and BI departments for the management, extraction and use of these data sources. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Endesa from June 2019 to December 2019.

Nico del Pozo has a Msc in Data Science & Big Data from Universidad de Sevilla, a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla, and certification from C3.ai in C3 Advanced Application Development and C3 Fundamentals. Nico also has a certification from Cambridge Assessment in Certificate in Advanced English.

They work with Kristiyan Velinov - Data Engineer, Marco Rietveld - Data Engineer, and Dennis Ameling - Frontend Engineer. Their manager is Albert Sikkema, Head of Engineering.
